Dumitru's research interests include fractional dynamics and its applications, fractional differential equations, discrete mathematics, Lie symmetries, fuzzy systems, soft computing,computational biology,dynamic systems on time scales, the wavelet method and its applications, quantization of the systems with constraints, Hamilton-Jacobi formalism, geometries admitting generic and non-generic symmetries. He has published more than 1000 papers indexed in SCI. He is one of the editors of 15 books published by Springer, one published by AIP Conference Proceedings and one of the co-authors of the monograph book titled “Fractional Calculus: Models and Numerical Methodsâ€, published in 2012 by World Scientific Publishing.

Dr. P. Mallick is working as a Lecturer in PG Department of Physics, North Orissa University, Baripada, India. His research interests include synthesis and study of nanoparticle thin films and bulk materials and evolution of materials under irradiation by high energy heavy ions. He has acted as a reviewer for many journals published by Elsevier, AIP, IOP, Springer, ACS, World Scientific etc. He is the member of Editorial Board for the journals: Nanosci. Nanotechnol., International Journal of Physics and Research, Universal Journal of Physics and Application. and International Journal of Solid State Materials. He has also received Certificate of Excellence in Reviewing Award-2013 from the Journal Solid State Sciences, Elsevier. He has published 45 research articles in journals of International/ National repute.
