Cosmology
Cosmology is the scientific study of the origin, evolution, structure, and eventual fate of the universe. It seeks to answer fundamental questions about the cosmos, such as how it began (the Big Bang theory), how it has evolved over billions of years, and what its ultimate destiny might be. Cosmologists investigate the large-scale properties of the universe, including its expansion, the distribution of galaxies, dark matter, dark energy, and the formation of cosmic structures.
